If this guy is animating everything by hand with no mocap, that’s some serious skill. I mean, those cloth physics and the details on Ada’s body are just crazy o_O... Now I'm wondering how a threesome would look, with the same quality and length as that Gwen animation

Hydra, if you’re reading this, I’d subscribe for life if you made that happen. No pressure, just saying...

Wow. Never disappoints. Although it would have been a little more hotter if he made Ashley finger herself or take some sort of part at least with Ada.

Well, the cloth and liquids are simulations, pretty simple even in blender.
But the body movement and facial animation must be mocap or AI extraction, no way this is all by hand.

Thanks, how does he even edit these videos? Got an idea what video editing software he uses?
Was wondering about Hydra's workflow myself but tbh doesn't look like much video editing, mostly color grading and some grain effects maybe - and audio of course, which is the biggest part, especially if he has to work together with voice actors.

BlackMagic's is kind of the video editing / color grading standard - most of all because it's free, professional and performant (and not Adobe, Adobe sucks donkey ass!).

Blender also has a video editing workspace, never used it but since it also has a capable compositor, it comes close to Resolve overall (maybe not performance-wise tho, Blender compositor is only GPU accelerated since latest version 4.2).

But I dunno if Hydra even uses Blender for whole 3D part or something more fancy.

... Hydra is animating these stuff long before AI was even a thing. Like check his Lara's animation from November 2019 or Widow & Mercy from October 2019 and you will see. Hydra's facial animations are always top tier, no need to try to disregard his work by saying "AI AI AI"... like literally you just came here and started saying stuff with mocap suit and AI... Like who the hell would make these animations with mocap suit... Do you even know how expensive it is? Even now when it's "cheap"?

Been here 3 years longer than you, but ok.
And what's with this aggressive attitude? Imagine being that pationated about a porn creator. I think you should go out more.

FYI:
Using mocap suits (btw not that expensive anymore) or AI tools to extract motion is no shit talking the artist but acknowledging his skill-set. It's not as easy as prompting something in StableDiffusion, that's for sure.
Character porting, rigging, lighting, physics, including all that mocap in the scene requires a whole tree of skills.

Also, his facial stuff got way better, early Lara is pretty rudementry (was most likely hand-animated), latest Harley is pretty detailed - different level of rig and some form of mocap (AI or not, doesn't matter).
Using iPhone cameras with their LiDAR scan is a very nice tool to get accurate starting data. And yes, that filter you put on your freaking insta fake-life is also AI so what's the big deal?

There are a lot cool tools out there that enables those who are willing to play with them. All kinds of indie game studios use this tech now and why wouldn't they - it makes more good content possible.

Damn Hydro improved over the years? Who would have guessed, right?

nah i doubt he used mocap on the faces, as they are too rigid. if i were to use mocap, i'd have already showcased many dynamic expressions in 30 seconds. or maybe he did use mocap to speed up his workflow, but limited it to few expressions as to avoid suspicion of using mocap

Guys Hydra is a Professional, but in all the meaning of the word. He probably has worked for big studios and worked on scenes of games we all have enjoyed.
Yeah I'm sure of it too that he is/was a professional working for companies. And if he's not, he sure can get a job in there.

I know a few minutes videos and a whole cinematic scene is different, but man... I wish we'd see a longer video of Ashley with some kind of story and all.
