It took me 25 hrs 44 min to finish the game. (HLTB / Length / hours / how long).

Explored pretty much everywhere, got every scene that you can get in a single playthrough. Going to do a NG+ run next.

Oh ye, I met him on my NG run. Tried fighting him before I fought the final boss... got annihilated on turn 1 every time lol. Hoping it'll be easier by the time I reach him in NG+ (assuming it's not tuned specifically for NG+ runs)

will definitely have an easier time in NG+ tho word of warning, the level cap stays the same and i don't think stats actually stack up like some other games. also, remember this is a very equip-dependent rpg, having the right resists is critical, there was a guide somewhere here for fighting satan but it's been too long

i am confused why no one is talking about the fact the the dl of the game dont work ?
Is no one else having this issue ?
Is there a specific thing to do to be able to play the game ?
Or is just not anyone playing it nowdays:

File Read Error *Continuing play can result in shutdown errors

with other simmilar errors no matter the link for download used

nevermind, for other peoples you may need to change your system language to japanese, dunno if it work with english too and it's why no one talk about it, but if ur from an other country you may need to.

Maybe put this information somewhere in the front page

Glad you were able to fix it. For these sort of situations (where you need to change system language to Japanese) I recommend "
You must be registered to see the links
", it makes it so you can just right click and choose "run in Japanese" rather than having to actually change your PC settings.

I beat this game years ago and always get excited when a new guy try it

anyone else has run into a bug where you craft the Black Iron Blade but it doesn't show in your equipment menu?
is there a solution for it?

Hey gang, I'm stumped.

I've gotten most of the maps so far but I need the one for 23F-2 and I have no idea where that is. I've explored all of 23F but the stairs all seem to go to 24F from there. So I don't even know where to begin looking.

tried use one of the F1-F3 buttons to get somebody npc info about the secrets? i forgot which one is

There aren't any NPCs on floor 23 and the 23rd floor shows as "cleared" on the Floor Info Screen. I'm pretty sure if it was treasure related it would show up in the Treasure Column instead of the Maps Column.

I just have no idea where 23F-2 is. Floor 23 normally doesn't have any off-shoots or caverns, at least I don't think it does. Its just a bunch of zig-zag paths, the hand eating hole in the wall, and a crystal harvest spot.

EDIT: 22F-2 and 23F-2 are located within the Resting Grounds of Demonic Army mini dungeon. Located and cleared.

Does anyone know what orders are considered bad or good?
Orders like "Hold Hand" and "Smile" flash blue as if good, but then "Hug" order flashes the screen red as if it's an evil order.

Funny enough with just some trial and error you can defeat him without new game plus (though losing 5 levels isnt a pain on the final floor)
